I'm about to get really cheesy right now; sorry in advance.
In 2015 I was introduced to TCTT by my friend Amanda. They were playing Loud Fest and she insisted on me catching their set. She introduced me to the guys and they were extremely nice, so I figured why not? And, wow, was I glad I did. I remember watching them perform and saying to myself "holy shit, they've got it." I was hooked from that moment on. They were the first band out of hundreds I've seen live to wow me with their performance. I knew they had something special going from that moment on.
Fast forward to 2016: I saw them again at the same venue I saw them for the first time, ended up on Warped Tour that summer with their label, Epitaph, and got to photograph them all summer, watched them take home the APMA for Best Underground Band, release their sophomore album, and do an amazing job on Crown The Empire's Fall headliner. That year, they became some of my favorite humans on the planet.
This year I watched them play a sold out show in Philadelphia on their first headliner w/ Waterparks and announce that they would be returning to Warped Tour. Epitaph didn't do Warped this year, but I still headed out to 5 dates this summer to see the guys again.
When I walked onto the stage to get some crowd shots, I couldn't help but smile when I saw how many people came to see them. My heart was so full. I was so happy to see them getting the recognition they deserve. And it was like that every day of Warped that I went to - even when it was pouring rain in Massachusetts. There is no group of human beings that deserve success more than these guys do. I'm so grateful they let me be part of their journey.
It's only up from here. I'm excited for what they have planned next. Congrats on everything, boys. Thanks for putting up with me as much as you do.
Below you'll see galleries of my favorite photos from the days I was at Warped with them. I hope you enjoy them!
